At a featherweight 2 lbs 9 oz per boot, the F1 GT is a lean, mean, skiing machine that still packs a powerful punch thanks to the polyamide shell and cuff which give this boot a flex rating of 90. Two buckles, a single finger strap, and a Speed Lock lever make for easy fit adjustments and transitions, even with burly gloves on. An Intuition liner, which is heat moldable, ensures that you get a fit you'll enjoy walking around in for hours on end. The Vibram® sole rounds out this alpine touring boot, giving you reliable traction for steep bootpacks, slick scrambles, or icy parking lots.

    SCARPA/Vibram® sole made with TOP85 compound that offers great durability and grip

    1. Toe: Very low thickness in the toe area as well as reducing the weight allows maximum sensitivity on the rock or any challenging terrain.
    2. Profile: The special lugs on the UFO LT sole are designed for maximum 360 degree traction, on every terrain.
    3. Self-Cleaning Grooves: Large grooves on bottom for good, self-cleaning from mud, snow and debris.

    Technologies

    This special polyamide offers a good compromise between stiffness and rebound; allowing a gradual transmission of the impulses from the boot to the ski during the ski phase.

    The leader in boot liner technology, Intuition® uses closed cell EVA foam for performance ski and mountaineering boots.

    Ortholite is an open-cell PU foam with great resistance to compression set (less than 5% compression set). The open cell PU structure provides exceptional breathability, and the formulation also includes 5% recycled rubber content as well, providing enhanced rebound while lowering the impact on the planet at the same time.

    All SCARPA non-plastic footwear and our Alien 3.0 uses European sizing.

    • 1 Euro whole size = 6.6 mm = 0.26 inches
    • 1 US whole size = 8.4 mm = 0.33 inches
    • The 30 Euro sizes below cover the same size range as 24 US sizes
    • Euro sizes provide a better, more precise fit for your intended use
    • For mountaineering boots, upsize (1/2+ sizes) depending on desired fit.
