    Some days you like to skin up a mountain and ski fresh lines. Other days you like to charge through the resort, taking lap after glorious lap. We get it, and that's why we made the 4-Quattro XT ski boot. As a hybrid boot, it's both lightweight and stiff, with a single boot weighing just over three pounds while still retaining a 130 flex rating. This is achieved by using a plant-based Griamid shell and cuff as well as four buckles and a Booster strap, giving you a reliable, progressive flex in any condition. Compatible with all alpine touring bindings and alpine GripWalk bindings, the 4-Quattro works with a wide range of ski setups, letting you choose your adventure for the day without needing to swap boots.

    Technologies

    Dynamic elastic straps stretch, allowing you to cinch them super tight for an increase in performance. They also provides cushioning to keep your shins from bangin’ when you’re getting ultra-sendy, too.
    This special polyamide offers a good compromise between stiffness and rebound; allowing a gradual transmission of the impulses from the boot to the ski during the ski phase.

    The leader in boot liner technology, Intuition® uses closed cell EVA foam for performance ski and mountaineering boots.

    Ortholite is an open-cell PU foam with great resistance to compression set (less than 5% compression set). The open cell PU structure provides exceptional breathability, and the formulation also includes 5% recycled rubber content as well, providing enhanced rebound while lowering the impact on the planet at the same time.

    PRESA®, SCARPA's outsole brand, offers superior traction with 80+ years of design expertise. It features IKS technology with seven impact-absorbing domes for shock absorption, anatomically mapped for precise support. Dual-density EVA in the midsole enhances lightweight cushioning, while a Dynamic Stabilizer Torsion frame in TPU ensures rearfoot stability and torsion control. The outsole's 4mm lugs and SuperGum rubber compound ensure durable, high-friction traction.
    In case of avalanches and emergencies or if lost in the outdoors RECCO rescue reflectors make you searchable by organized rescue teams searching with RECCO detectors. RECCO technology is not a substitute for an avalanche transceiver.

    Sizing

    All SCARPA ski boots use Mondo sizing. SCARPA ski boots break on the half size, this means that a half size shares the same shell length as the whole size above it but the liners are lasted for each 1/2 size. For example, a 25.5 and 26.0 are the same shell size but the respective liners come pre-molded to the half size. Some skiers may want to downsize up to 1 full Mondo size, depending upon personal preference.
