    The 4-QUATTRO SL is the lightest GripWalk hybrid ski boot in its class. A low stand height and flex index of 100 provide the ideal balance of performance and comfort for all skiing pursuits. The shell and cuff are made from Pebax R-new®, produced from renewable, plant-based sources. The shell incorporates an over-injected carbon insert for enhanced precision, energy transmission, and torsional rigidity. The new Alpine Axial Hybrid provides a classic overlap construction allowing easier entry into the boot and enables excellent power transmission and unparalleled control. The Presa® sole has an ergonomic design that guarantees excellent grip when walking and is compatible with GripWalk certified downhill or ski touring bindings. Power, precision, and sustainability come together to make the 4-Quattro SL the perfect all-day boot, both on and off piste.

    Technologies

    The leader in boot liner technology, Intuition® uses closed cell EVA foam for performance ski and mountaineering boots.

    Ortholite is an open-cell PU foam with great resistance to compression set (less than 5% compression set). The open cell PU structure provides exceptional breathability, and the formulation also includes 5% recycled rubber content as well, providing enhanced rebound while lowering the impact on the planet at the same time.
    Pebax offers a unique combination of high performance properties: sustained flexibility at low temperature, high cold impact resistance, and outstanding energy return.

    PRESA®, SCARPA's outsole brand, offers superior traction with 80+ years of design expertise. It features IKS technology with seven impact-absorbing domes for shock absorption, anatomically mapped for precise support. Dual-density EVA in the midsole enhances lightweight cushioning, while a Dynamic Stabilizer Torsion frame in TPU ensures rearfoot stability and torsion control. The outsole's 4mm lugs and SuperGum rubber compound ensure durable, high-friction traction.
    In case of avalanches and emergencies or if lost in the outdoors RECCO rescue reflectors make you searchable by organized rescue teams searching with RECCO detectors. RECCO technology is not a substitute for an avalanche transceiver.

    Sizing

    All SCARPA ski boots use Mondo sizing. SCARPA ski boots break on the half size, this means that a half size shares the same shell length as the whole size above it but the liners are lasted for each 1/2 size. For example, a 25.5 and 26.0 are the same shell size but the respective liners come pre-molded to the half size. Some skiers may want to downsize up to 1 full Mondo size, depending upon personal preference.
