The more street-savvy cousin to our Gecko approach shoe, the Spirit is at home on the streets and cobblestones of our favorite towns and metro areas around the world. The upper is an eco cotton canvas stretch textile, with 70% recycled cotton content and 30% organic cotton. A lace-to-toe closure system is super adaptable, whether you want to cinch it down for a quick bouldering session or back it off for more casual use at the brewpub, and accommodates a variety of foot shapes. The upper is finished off with a recycled rubber toe rand for a little extra protection. The Spirit features a slip-lasted construction for ultimate in flexibility and sensitivity. The dual-density, eco-friendly midsole provides a well-cushioned ride and plenty of support for long days on your feet. The outsole features our exclusive SuperGum Eco rubber for extra friction and traction, and is highly durable to stand up to street or slab.

Ortholite is an open-cell PU foam with great resistance to compression set (less than 5% compression set). The open cell PU structure provides exceptional breathability, and the formulation also includes 5% recycled rubber content as well, providing enhanced rebound while lowering the impact on the planet at the same time.

PRESA®, SCARPA's outsole brand, offers superior traction with 80+ years of design expertise. It features IKS technology with seven impact-absorbing domes for shock absorption, anatomically mapped for precise support. Dual-density EVA in the midsole enhances lightweight cushioning, while a Dynamic Stabilizer Torsion frame in TPU ensures rearfoot stability and torsion control. The outsole's 4mm lugs and SuperGum rubber compound ensure durable, high-friction traction.
Exclusive to SCARPA, the SuperGum rubber compound was developed to provide equal or better slip resistance as compared to other high-friction rubbers but with vastly superior abrasion resistance. It was formulated to deliver high friction performance in both wet and dry conditions, but at the same time offers 3 times the abrasion resistance.
This SCARPA Vegan symbol and designation is given to products that do not contain any materials sourced from animals or that utilize any kind of animal testing. All of the materials sourced for these Vegan products utilize fully synthetic materials with no components coming from animals, including the glues used in soling.Sizing
