    Features

    • PCB-TENSION™ ACTIVE RAND

PCB-Tension system is SCARPA’s most minimalist tension system designed with prehensile foot movement and sensitivity in mind.
Perfectly adapted to work with the SRT system, Power Connection Band gives the foot complete freedom by reducing layers around the foot and minimizing distance between the foot and sole rubber pad.

      SURROUND RUBBER TENSION (SRT)

SRT is a layer of our ultra-soft M50 rubber that wraps around the forefoot and translates the power directly to the tips of the toes.
It also provides maximum friction and sensitivity for toe-hooking. Climbing with soft shoes improves one’s climbing style and naturally strengthens toe power.
The total freedom of foot placement stimulates a faster and more dynamic movement on rock or plastic.

    Technologies

M50 is our softest rubber compound offering the best levels of adaptability to the natural curves of the foot and toes. A rating of 50, making it perfect for use in our SRT system, toe patches and strategic positioning around the shoe upper.

The PCB spans the arch to dynamically connect the forefoot and heel to distribute power from the toes throughout the foot. When paired with a “no midsole” construction the result is a collection of the most sensitive performance shoes we’ve ever built.

Surround Rubber Tension is a layer of our ultra-soft M50 rubber that wraps around the forefoot and translates the power directly to the tips of the toes. It also provides maximum friction and sensitivity for toe-hooking.

Vibram® is the world leader in high performance rubber soles and compounds, targeted to the outdoor, work, recreation, fashion, repair and orthopedic markets.

VIBRAM® XS GRIP2 delivers excellent friction with enough firmness for moderate edging.
